Position: The successful team member will leverage his or her knowledge and experience as a Computer System Administrator to support our customer. Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain software and system development environment hardware, supporting software, and network equipment in a data center, LAN or WAN environment
• Responsible for hardware and parts inventory
• Interfaces with vendors for purchasing, shipping, and receiving of data center equipment and parts, as required
• Utilizes automated tools for inventory, tracking, purchases, configuration management, and computing environment documentation and drawings
• Performs hardware maintenance as preventative maintenance as required
• Ability to install parts, perform repairs, and conduct problem tracking and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of relevant experience in a data center, WAN/LAN, development network or similar
• Experience with Linux Administration (CentOS and Ubuntu)
• Experience working with an internal certificate server
• Experience managing VMWare clusters
• Understands and has experience with Active Directory and DNS
• Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and/or Mattermost experience a plus
• Possesses a strong ability to interpret, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to servers and basic network equipment
• Must have at least basic knowledge of networking
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional and respectful telephone etiquette
• Must be decisive, conscientious, and interact well in a team environment
• Have a strong desire to learn and be able to follow policies and procedures
• Must demonstrate the ability to work well with a limited supervision

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field related to the requested skillsets or Associates and years of experience.

Security Clearance Requirements:  Active Top Secret Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.
